Pocket watch in a silver repousee pair case, inner case plain, outer repousse with classical scene of four figures. Full-plate movement, verge escapement, balance bridge, square pillars. Convex enamel dial, wavy minute ring, centre with plychrome scene of female figure leaning on fouled anchor, depicting hope. Gilt decorated hour hand, replaced brass minute hand.

Evidently a Swiss forgery, assay marks may be forged as well.
