Boat's Liquid Compass and Binnacle

Bowl-Dia. 6.25" (15.9cm) Black painted brass, filler plug at side, expansion chamber at base. Inside of bowl painted white with four black painted lubber lines. Mounted in a black painted brass gimbal ring 7.25" (18.4cm) diameter.
Card-Dia. 5" (12.7cm) White painted mica (?) with black markings, graduated to 360 degs. and to 1/4 points.
Needle-Four flat bar needles (partly sighted) length unknown.
Binnacle-Brass coloured metal, with round glazed window 6" (15.3cm) dia. at top, mounting flange at base. Inside painted black and fitted with an electric lamp socket at top, and two "Y" mountings to take gimbal ring.
