Join us for Discover the Moon, a lively, family‑friendly daytime special event filled with hands‑on activities and expert insights at the Royal Observatory. 

Drop in and explore the wonders of our nearest neighbour through interactive lunar demos, get creative with our Mirror Moon activity, and chat with our astronomers to ask all your burning space questions.

Discover the Moon is a special event running on two dates in August: there's no need to buy a special ticket, simply book standard tickets for Monday 10 or Monday 24 August and you can drop in to the special lunar activities on the day. 

Designed for curious minds of all ages, this event offers plenty of opportunities to explore the Royal Observatory Greenwich, learn something new, and enjoy astronomy together as a family.
