Commander’s Memorial, large printed document signed by 37 individuals with the year each of them joined the service, 1893. These documents are addressed to the Directors of the Irrawaddy Flotilla Co., and lay out the grievances of a group of Commanders (of various IFC vessels), who refer to themselves as the Memorialists, with regards to the poor wages and high risks involved in their work.
