Terrestrial pocket globe
Terrestrial and celestial pocket globe. The geographical details on the terrestrial sphere, astronomical details on the inside of the case, construction and cartography are the same as those of Cushee GLB0044, but the case hooks are complete and the hinge is slightly different. Trade winds are marked by hatched regions in the oceans between the tropics. In North America, there is a label, 'Unknown Parts', and California is drawn as an island. Australia is represented according to the Dutch discoveries. Dampier's explorations are indicated by 'N. Britain'. In Asia, there are three labels. Nine oceans are named.
