Walpole (1918)
Scale 1;48. Plan shows the inboard profile, bridges, upper and forecastle decks, as fitted, of the W-class destroyer Walpole (1918). The plan bears the signature of the Hull Overseer H. Williams. The drawing also contains the signature of the Director of William Doxford & Sons. A William Doxford & Sons Shipyard stamp, dated 7 August 1918 is printed on the left hand side of the plan. The drawing shows alterations in vermillion ink made at Chatham Dockyard dated March 1926. The drawing also shows modifications in purple ink made at Chatham Dockyard dated February 1929. The plan also shows alterations in carmine ink made at Portsmouth Dockyard dated November 1929. A small part of the bottom right part of the plan is detached from the main body.
