Wave (purchased 1882)

Scale 1:24. Plan shows the midship section for the tender Wave (purchased 1882). This drawing was noted at Devonport Dockyard dated 11 October 1883. The plan bears the signature of J. Angear [Chief Constructor of Devonport Dockyard 1883-1886]. The drawing is very fragile. This vessel was originally launched as a yacht in 1874 under the name Edeline and then purcahsed by the Admiralty in 1882. It was converted into a tender and renamed Wave in 1882. A note on the plan states the Edeline is now known as Wave.
