Mist and Barges
A romantic watercolour of the Thames with a raft of lighters, a paddle steamer and various other steam vessels on the left and a Thames barge under sail on the right, with bridges in the distance. Wyllie spent half his childhood in London and the other in France by the sea, and this picture has elements of both his experiences during this time.
