Hannibal (1854)
Scale 1:48. Plan shows the partial sheer lines, part body plan and part longitudinal half breadth, showing the elongation of these areas to fit the screw for the Princess Royal class 2 deck screw steam battleship Hannibal (1854). Red ink on the drawing shows the sections and water lines of the vessel before elongation. A Deptford Dockyard stamp with no date is printed on the plan. The drawing bears the signature of John Edye [Assistant Surveyor of the Navy 1832-1855]. This plan is fragile and resides in pieces.
