The 'Scylla' anchored in a moonlit bay

This ink and wash drawing shows the 'Scylla' at anchor in a moonlit bay with trees and mountains in the distance. A building is visible in the foreground and a boat and smaller vessel are also in the bay. The 'Scylla' is identified in an inscription on the opposite page of the album. It was a Cruizer class 18 gun brig-sloop that was converted to a ship-sloop at Plymouth in 1824 and was broken up in 1846. Mounted on page and in album with PAI1013-PAI1025, PAI1027-PAI1110.; Page 15.
