This coloured lithograph depicts the wooden paddle sloop ‘Gorgon’, 6 guns, moored in the Hamoaze (Tamar Estuary), her sails limp and thin smoke wafting from her funnel. A fully laden rowing boat makes it way out to her in the foreground.
