A hypothetical southern continent is drawn and labelled 'TERRA AUSTRALIS INCOGNITA MAGALLANICA'. There are numerous decorations, including animals in North and South America and Africa, nomads in Asia, cannibals in Brazil and birds in the southern continent. There is a large decorative group with Neptune just above the equator, and many ships in the oceans.

There are five notes on discoveries, including, for example, one extensive note on the discovery of America in a cartouche with animal heads at the top and sides, and in the hypothetical south continent in a cartouche with the head of a cherub at the top.
