Celestial table globe

Celestial table globe. It forms a pair with the terrestrial globe, Price GLB0154. Astronomical details on the sphere include a labelled magnitude table above Bootes. The Milky Way and the Magellanic Clouds are labelled; there is also a label 'Stella Nova' in Cassiopeia and Cygnus. A total of 38 stars and five star groups are named. The 48 Ptolemaic constellations and four of the non-Ptolemaic constellations are drawn. Four of the southern constellations are drawn as well as those of Plancius and all those of Hevelius.
