Awarded to John Harrison VC. Obverse: Head of Queen Victoria with a diadem, hair tied in a knot (L). Legend: "VICTORIA REGINA". Below "1854". Reverse: Victory flying (R) crowning with a laurel wreath a Roman soldier standing (L) with shield and short sword. Inscr. (rev.) "CRIMEA" (vertical, L) suspended from a foliated bar and pale blue ribbon edged with yellow. Bars: "SEBASTOPOL"; "AZOFF" Inscription on edge: "JOHN HARRISON".
