New Zealand War Medal 1860-6
Obverse: Short bust of Queen Victoria in a diadem and veil (L) Legend: "VICTORIA D:G:BRITT:REG:F:D:" Reverse: No dates inscribed. Legend: "NEW ZEALAND" "VIRTUTIS HONOR". Inscription on edge: "465 WM. COOK 70TH REGT". Suspended from a bar with fern leaf decoration and dark blue ribbon with a central scarlet stripe. [This medal was issued after the second New Zealand War 1860-66].
