Empress of India (1891)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows the inboard profile, as fitted for the Royal Sovereign class barbette battleship Empress of India (1891). A table detailing the voice locations through the ship is printed above the drawing. The plan bears the signature of J. C. Froyne [Chief Constructor Pembroke Dockyard 1883-1897] dated 19 March 1892. The drawing also bearing the signatures of Chief Constructors when the ship was refitted. The first is J. A. Yates [Chief Constructor at Chatham Dockyard 1893-1897] dated 15 January 1894. The second is H. R. Champness [Chief Constructor of Devonport Dockyard 1897 1906] dated 22 July 1902.
