Silver teapot

A silver teapot embossed and chased with acanthus leaves. It has a hinged lid, with a knop in the form of a rose with a stem, four leaves and a bud. The scrolling handle is insulated with two bands of ivory. It stands on a base decorated with scrolls and paterae with four feet. The interior is gilt. The item is hallmarked on the base.
