Convoy protection is being asked for for a Hoy to carry materials from Shoreham for ships building at Harwich and for a vessel in the Downs loaded with stores for Plymouth. The LARK and the ROE Ketch will take care of the former and the RUBY and GUARDLAND the latter. The RUBY and GUARDLAND also have orders to convey ships with Ordnance to Portsmouth and Plymouth but to proceed independantly should the ships be delayed.
