Document signed by James Southerne, Secretary to the Admiralty, fl. 1690-1694

In answer to yours of the 6th inst; concerning Convoy of Mr Fitch's Ship with CULME at Falmouth bound for Portsmouth, there has been none of their Majesties' Ships that have come from the Westward since we have had notice of her being there, but the PRINCE OF ORANGE is daily expected at Falmouth from Milford, and if the Master of this Vessel apply to her Commander, he will bring her to Plymouth, from whence the first Ship of their Majesties that comes from there Eastwards will be ordered to convoy her to Portsmouth.
