Tobacco box

A round tobacco box, made of embossed sheet brass. On the lid, a profile portrait of George III facing left, surrounded by beading. The lid is inscribed: 'GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA REX'. It is signed below the truncation 'M. & P.' There is a key pattern on the sides. On the base: 'GEORGE III WAS BORN JUNE 4 1738. ASCENDED THE BRITISH THRONE OCTR. 25 1760. THE GRAND NATIONAL JUBILEE CELEBRATED 25 OCTR 1809. LONG LIVE THE KING.'
