Tobacco box
Tobacco box commemorating Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The lid is cast and the sides are turned. In the centre of the lid, a profile portrait of Nelson facing left inscribed|: 'ADMIRAL NELSON'. 'ENGLAND EXPECTS EVERY MAN TO DO HIS DUTY. TRAFALGAR OCT XXI MDCCCV.' The sides are plain except for a band of milled decoration, the base is plain. Probably a reproduction.
