In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

The Ships which you were directed to repair by our Orders of the 30th August are all of 70 Guns and upwards. You have informed us that fitting them for a foreign voyage will take up more time than fitting them for the Channel. We direct you to inform us as soon as possible how much longer it will take to refit for a foreign voyage than for Channel service.
