In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

The loss of the WILD Prize having been enquired into at Court Martial, and the Officers and Company found not be wanting in their Duty, we direct you cause them to be paid their Wages, and that Captain Smith, her Commander, be likewise paid for the time he served as Lieutenant of the BRITTANIA, if there are no objections other than the want of his Captain's Certificate of having performed his instructions.
We also direct you to cause the St. NICHOLAS Machine vessel, lately blown up before Dieppe, to be paid.
We order a survey to be taken of a French privateer lately brought into Plymouth by the RESERVE and FORESIGHT, and report to this Board whether she is fitting to be employed as a Man of War.
