HMY Fairy (1845); Royal/ceremonial vessel; Yacht
        
        Scale: 1:96. A contemporary full hull and rigged model of HMY Fairy (1845). The model is decked, rigged with three masts and spars and equipped with a variety of fittings including a capstan, binnacle, wheel, pumps, a full set of boats slung from davits, and a number of skylights along the deck to give illumination down below. An inscription on the bottom of the base reads ‘model of HM Yacht Fairy designed and built by T I Ditchburn of Blackwall, 1845’.
