Scale: 1:24. This model was commissioned and owned by Fairmile Construction Company Ltd., the company that designed the actual cone-driven ramped car ferry (1953). It retains its original display case with builder’s plaque inscribed ‘Aluminium alloy ramped cargo vessel 60'0’ OA x 16'0’ MLD x 5'6’ MLD Designed by Fairmile Construction Co Ltd (Mr S N Graham M.B.E. M.I.N.A.) Cobham Surrey built at Hayling Island Hants’. An intriguing looking vessel, it was developed and built for Crown Agents for service in Sarawak, Malaysia.
