Nowhere does Christmas quite like Greenwich. Whether you want to glide around the Queen’s House Ice Rink, snap pictures of twinkling lights or feast on festive treats at Greenwich Market, the Royal Borough is packed with Christmas charm.
Here, we reveal some of the unmissable events taking place this festive season.
Go ice skating at a UNESCO World Heritage Site
Set against the backdrop of the Queen’s House, our outdoor ice rink is the perfect place for a magical Christmas adventure. Open until 9 January 2022 (with the exception of Christmas Day), the rink boasts views of the Canary Wharf skyline and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Maritime Greenwich.
Make sure to soak up the festive spirit and enjoy a range of winter treats, including indulgent hot chocolates and Baileys coffee from Benugo’s catering stall. If you’re after some heartier fare, head to the Parkside Café in the National Maritime Museum or stroll over to Greenwich town centre for a range of restaurants, cafés and bars.
