As COVID-19 restrictions ease, we want to ensure that all our visitors, staff and volunteers still feel safe and comfortable when exploring our sites.
We have decided therefore to continue to ask our visitors to book tickets online in advance and pay by card whenever possible. We highly recommend mask wearing, and ask visitors to keep a safe distance from other groups and be courteous to both visitors and staff, especially in smaller gallery spaces.

Cutty Sark, the Royal Observatory Greenwich, National Maritime Museum and the Queen's House are open. Please book online in advance wherever possible.
To help protect yourself and others, we highly encourage visitors to wear a face covering at all our indoor venues and enclosed spaces. We ask that visitors maintain a safe distance from others and continue to be respectful of other visitors and staff.
To ensure your comfort and safety, as well as prevent overcrowding, we continue to manage the number of visitors to our sites.
Pre-booked timeslots ensure that visits are spread out throughout the day and helps us to manage our capacity.
Limited tickets may be available if you turn up on the day, but to guarantee entry we strongly advise booking online in advance.
There is no limit to the time you can spend on our sites. However, you will need a separate ticket for each site, and you will need to pre-book tickets even for free sites.
Entry to the Queen's House and National Maritime Museum is still free, but to manage our capacity you must book a timed entry slot in advance. Your ticket grants you free access to explore at your leisure.
Please note that due to the delicate nature of some of the displays at the Queen's House, visitors are not permitted to wear backpacks or carry large bags while in the House. We recommend travelling light and only bring what you need. We have a limited number of lockers available for a £1 fee.
The National Maritime Museum's new exhibition Tudors to Windsors: British Royal Portraits will be open from 28 May until 31 October 2021 – find out more.

All National Maritime Museum ticket holders will also be able to visit the free exhibition Exposure: Lives at Sea.
You can now follow our brand new audio tour on your phone, free with tickets to Cutty Sark or Royal Observatory. A new audio tour at the Queen's House is also available. We've partnered with Smartify, the world's most downloaded museum app, to make it easier than ever to explore our sites.
Shows at the Peter Harrison Planetarium run on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays during term time, and every day during the school holidays.
Shows are now available to book online and by phone. Our shows are very popular, to prevent any disappointment, we recommend booking your tickets in advance. To book your tickets, please visit our website or contact our Bookings team on 0208 312 6608. The Bookings office is open Monday-Sunday, 9am-5pm.
Please note: We ask you to book your tickets at least 24 hours in advance. Cut-off for advance bookings is at 9am on the day of the show.
There is a car park open to visitors during weekends, bank holidays and school holidays from 10am-5pm. The charge is £10 per day: book here.
Approximately 75 spaces are available. Vehicles must fit within the marked bays. All proceeds help fund the work of Royal Museums Greenwich.
The Caird Library at the National Maritime Museum is currently open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you are planning to visit the Library then you will need to book a visit in advance.

Yes, you can purchase tickets over the phone by calling our bookings office on 0208 312 6608, 9am-5pm.
Your tickets to the Royal Observatory or Cutty Sark will still be valid. We ask that all unused tickets are exchanged for new timed tickets in advance. When you are ready to re-book, please email your order confirmation, along with your new visit date and arrival time to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will be sent new e-tickets ahead of your visit. If you turn up on the day without exchanging your tickets in advance and there isn’t availability, you will be asked to contact the Bookings team to book an alternative visit date.
Children under 4 are free to all our sites – please select a ‘Child Under 4’ ticket for them when you check out so we can count them in our capacity. Children aged 4-15 are charged as follows:
Cutty Sark: £7.50 per child
Royal Observatory: £8 per child
Students of all ages and visitors under 25 can buy a discounted ticket (proof required) at the following rate:

As a member, you have free access to all our sites, but we ask that you continue to book your visit online in advance even at our free sites.

No. However, we do charge a non-refundable booking fee for some special events and experiences.
You will receive your booking confirmation by email. Just bring this with you either on your mobile device or as a printout. If you are a Member you will also need to show your Membership card.
Unfortunately, our on-site ticket scanners are unable to read tickets on mobile phones with cracked screens. Please note we are unable to send tickets by post.
Timeslots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so your chosen timeslot may be fully booked. We only have a limited capacity for each timeslot to ensure we can maintain social distancing.

We are delighted that Royal Museums Greenwich are offering free tickets to emergency service workers. There are a limited number of free tickets available daily for each timeslot. You will need to pre-book your ‘key worker ticket’ online, and the offer is limited to one ‘key worker ticket’ per transaction. To book the planetarium, please contact the Bookings team. This offer is only applicable to Blue Light Cardholders. Please do remember to bring your Blue Light Card as well as your e-ticket on the day of your visit.

Yes. However, 2FOR1 vouchers must be exchanged for Cutty Sark, Royal Observatory or Tudor to Windsor admission tickets before your visit. You can do this online here. Unfortunately, we cannot accept 2FOR1 vouchers over the phone or at our admission desks. 2for1 entry is valid on full priced Adult tickets only.
Visitors wanting to book through the reciprocal scheme or International Council of Museums (ICOM) can still take advantage of their free tickets. Contact the bookings team on 0208 312 6608 in advance of your visit. Remember to bring your staff ID pass or ICOM card as well as your e-ticket on the day of your visit (reciprocity may exclude special exhibitions or events requiring an additional fee).

Buggy parks are available at Cutty Sark and Royal Observatory with limited capacity. These are not staffed and are used at the visitor’s own risk. Please note: children's bikes, scooters and skateboards are not permitted at our sites and cannot be stored in our buggy parks.
We have suspended the use of cloakrooms for the moment. We recommend travelling light and only bringing what you need. We have a limited number of lockers available at the National Maritime Museum and the Queen's House, for which there is a £1 fee.
If you lose something at our sites, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, contact details, a description of the item and the date of your visit. Unfortunately, during the coronavirus pandemic we are unable to store any lower value items found on site. We kindly ask that you look after your personal property while visiting our sites.
