Volunteering at Royal Museums Greenwich is a great way to develop your skills while supporting us and enhancing the experience of our visitors.
Do you have some free time and enjoy helping people? Are you interested in ships, seafarers and how the oceans have shaped our history? Or do astronomy, art or architecture float your boat?
If so, you might like to apply to become part of our dedicated team of volunteers.
Volunteers in the current situation
Volunteers have long played a key role in supporting Royal Museums Greenwich, and we are grateful for your interest in volunteering with us. As a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Royal Museums Greenwich recently closed our doors, but we are now focussed on re-opening safely for all.
When we are ready to involve new volunteers, we'll promote volunteering opportunities here on our website. Hopefully we'll have a volunteering role that will be just right for you.
If you have any queries about volunteering, please contact Kimberley Cumberbatch:
Tel: 44 (0)20 8312 8565 (this number is only for enquiries about volunteering)
Develop your skills while contributing to our work and enhancing our visitors' experience. See all current volunteering opportunities at the National Maritime Museum, Royal Observatory Greenwich, Cutty Sark and Queen's House below.
Please note: If your application is successful we’ll need you to complete a Disclosure for security clearance.
