Leave at Whitchurch, then a voyage to Alexandria on the transport BULIMBA (1882) in September 1884. Service on the ironclad battleship HMS INFLEXIBLE (1876) and the screw corvette HMS CARYSFORT (1878) in the Mediterranean, including the Saukin campaign once more. Then service on the battleship HMS DREADNOUGHT (1875) from January 1885. Includes the following loose inserts (in melinex sleeves): Newspaper cutting of sketch of the late Rev E.B. Pusey, small printed calling card for Rev George Greenwood with pencilled notes
and sheet of blue headed notepaper (Grand Hotel Abbat, Alexandrie (Egypte)) with notes on reverse.
