Unnamed proposed 140ft auxiliary surveying barquentine (not built)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows the proposed lower deck, hold and sections, for a unnamed sail auxiliary steam survey barquentine. A not on the plan states this plan was noted and returned by the Portsmouth Yard Chief Constructor, dated 17 May 1893. This plan has been signed by Sir William White [Director of Naval Construction 1885-1902]. The words 'New Dart' have been written in pencil on the plan.
