Unnamed 180ft design for iron cased vessel with 2 shields (1862)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows the sheer lines, body plan and longitudinal half breadth design drawing of a unnamed 200ft paddle steam frigate for the Indian Government (1844). The plan bears the signature of Sir William Symonds [Surveyor of the Navy 1832-1847] and Baron Sidney Herbert [First Secretary of the Admiralty 1841-1844]. The title of the plan is "A Draught prepared in compliance with the directions of the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty at the 15th Alt (also known as 15th of that month) for building a steam frigate for the Indian Government".
