Malacca (cancelled 1841)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows the sheer lines with framing detail, a body plan with stern plate and the longitudinal half breadth for the Spartan class frigate Malacca (cancelled 1841). This plan has been signed by William Symonds [Surveyor of the Royal Navy 1832-1847]. A note on the plan states that it was returned from India on 12 December 1843. There is a tear at the right hand edge of the drawing.
