CONVOY SLOOP FOR 1933 PROGRAMME (HMS ENCHANTRESS ex BITTERN class)
Scale 1:96 print of a tracing drawing giving the Sketch Profile and Plan of Rig for the Bittern convoy sloop Enchantress. The drawing shows the ship as originally designed with 4 x 4.7" guns.
This print is stamped by the Principal (Ship) Overseer at Denny Bros Ltd, Dumbarton, 20 June 1935. The first of class was built by John Brown. See also the original tracing NPN3281. This print was made before the original tracing was signed by Sir Arthur Johns [Director of Naval Construction 1930-1936].
