CONVOY SLOOP FOR 1933 PROGRAMME (BITTERN class)
Scale 1:48 print of a tracing drawing giving the outline General Arrangement Plans of the Forecastle and Upper Decks for the Bittern class convoy sloops. The drawing shows the ship as originally designed with 4 x 4.7" guns.
This print is stamped by the Principal (Ship) Overseer at Denny Bros Ltd, Dumbarton, 20 June 1935. The first of class was built by John Brown. See also the original tracing NPN3282. This print was made before the original tracing was signed by Sir Arthur Johns [Director of Naval Construction 1930-1936], with notes added.
