CONVOY SLOOP FOR 1933 PROGRAMME (BITTERN class)

Scale 1:48 print of a tracing drawing giving the outline General Arrangement Profile, and Plans of the Bridge and Signal Decks for the Bittern class convoy sloops. The plan shows the ship as originally designed with 4 x 4.7" guns.

This print is stamped by the Principal (Ship) Overseer at Denny Bros Ltd, Dumbarton, 20 June 1935. The first of class was built by John Brown. This print was made before the original tracing was signed by Sir Arthur Johns [Director of naval Construction 1930-1936].
