Alert (1856)

Scale 1:24. Plan shows the watertight bulkheads with notes for the screw sloop Alert (1856), fitted for Arctic Service in 1875. The drawing bears the signature of W. B. Robinson [Chief Constructor/Master Shipwright, Portsmouth Dockyard, 1869-1881]. This plan was noted and returned to Sheerness Dockyard dated 28 April 1877 and bears the signature of A. B. Sturdee [Master Shipwright/Chief Constructor at Sheerness Dockyard 1866-1878].
