Scale 1:24. Plan shows the hold, sections, engine and boiler details, as fitted for the screw sloop Alert (1856), fitted for Arctic Service in 1875. The drawing bears the signature of W. B. Robinson [Chief Constructor/Master Shipwright, Portsmouth Dockyard, 1869-1881]. This plan was noted and returned to Sheerness Dockyard dated 28 April 1877 and bears the signature of A. B. Sturdee [Master Shipwright/Chief Constructor at Sheerness Dockyard 1866-1878].
