Archer class cruisers

Scale 1:192. Plan shows the sketch of sails for the Archer class torpedo cruisers, prepared in accordance with the Controller's order of 9 March 1887. A proposed alteration of shortened topmasts is shown in red ink. The plan has been noted by Devionport Dockyard on 21 April 1887 and signed by J. B. Huddy [Chief Constructor of Devonport Dockyard 1886-1892]. The drawing is also noted by Sheerness Dockyard dated 29 April 1887 and is signed by J. H. Elliott [Chief Constructor of Sheerness Dockyard 1883-1887]. The plan is also noted by Portsmouth Dockyard dated 3 May 1887 and is signed by H. E. Deadman [Chief Constructor of Portsmouth Dockyard Chief Constructor of Portsmouth Dockyard 1886-1892].
