Archer (1885)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows a partial profile view for the Archer class torpedo cruiser Archer (1885). The drawing illustrates the proposed position of the hand up scuttle, the ammunition leads and the alterations necessary for fitting 6 inch quick fire guns. It was converted in lieu of breach loading guns. The plan is signed by W. James [Chief Constructor at Chatham Dockyard 1897-1906].
