The House was built of timbers intended for building a church in 1916. The mission left in 1919 and the building was used by itinerant missionaries. Now abandoned, it is a nesting place for Black Guillemots.

PM11766/34; A group of passengers on the shore at Pauline Cove, Herschel Island, for the trip back to the Kapitan Dranitsyn by Zodiac RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat). Two of the Zodiac RIBs are drawn up on the shore, one is obscured by the white hut in the middle distance. These were used to transport the passengers to and from the island back to the ice breaker.

PM11769/6; A view of the abandoned settlement at Pauline Cove, Herschel Island, looking at the Bonehouse with the Community House just behind. Captain McKenna's Cabin, built around 1893, partially obscures the Bonehouse and the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals Building that housed the transmitter. This was in operation between 1930 and 1938.

PM11748/0; A moose head mounted over the fireplace in the lobby of the Regal Alaskan Hotel, Anchorage, Alaska. Other stuffed and mounted animals are displayed on the walls. Ivy Sharp arrived at the hotel in the evening of the 20 July and left for Provideniya, Russia, mid-morning 21 July to transfer to the Russian icebreaker Kapitan Dranitsyn (1980).
