Victor (1855) and Intrepid (1855)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows the sheer lines, longitudinal half breadth and body plan for the Intrepid class first class despatch gunvessels Victor (1855) and Intrepid (1855). A note on the drawing was to be originally used for the Intrepid first class despatch gunvessels Flying Fish (1855) and Pioneer (1855). Another note states a copy of the drawing was sent to Messrs Wigram & Sons dated 23 May 1855. The plan bears the signature of Admiral Baldwin Wake Walker [Surveyor of the Navy 1848-1860], J. Edye [Assistant Surveyor of the Navy 1832-1855] , Isaac Watts [1st Assistant Surveyor 1848-1860] , R. Osborne [1st Secretary of the Admiralty 1854-1858]. The drawing is torn and fragile.
