Mechanical deck log
Rectangular box with two rollers holding a paper roll. The rollers can be rotated by means of two milled knobs to allow part of the roll to be written on through a rectangular hole. There is also a circular hole cut in the face of the box for a watch or chronometer, with a deviation table alongside the aperture. Box contains a speed, time and distance card.
