Diary kept by Frederick Arthur Buckley on the battlecruiser HMS HOOD (1918) during a world cruise, 26 November 1923 to 30 September 1924. In this period Buckley had the rank of commander and was the Gunnery Officer of the Special Service Squadron. The diary includes a list of ports visited and distances covered. Enclosed are a newspaper cutting, telegrams, a photograph and a dinner menu.
