In this workshop, Theeba Krishnamoorthy, Tamil multimedia artist and public health enthusiast, will lead you on a talk and creative workshop celebrating herstory.
Journey into the heart of the Sivaganga Kingdom in the 18th Century, a once prosperous kingdom in Southern India, to uncover the stories of warrior women. We will review an array of artwork created in memory of these warrior women from the lens of intersectionality, and then create our own memorabilia through collaging from a range of materials inspired by the lives lived.

12pm - 2.30pm: Creative workshop in ReThink Space

About the speaker: Theeba Krishnamoorthy
Theeba (she/her) is a Tamil multimedia artist and public health enthusiast, with a passion for storytelling. She recently completed her PhD in Interdisciplinary Public Health which led her on a historical path to understanding her diaspora, and has become devoted to platforming hidden voices.
