Postcard with a signed photographic portrait of A.D. Jones [Arthur Duncan Jones) in uniform, dated 15 January 1918.

Arthur Duncan Jones, born at Douglas, Isle of Man, in 1890, was fourth engineer on the merchant vessel GOVERNOR (1915), The Charente Steamship Co. Ltd., captured and sunk by the German raider MOEWE on 14 March 1917. The portrait shows him during internment at the officers camp at Wahmbeck in Germany.
