Alacrity (1885)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows the poop, bridge and forecastle, as fitted, for the Surpise class despatch vessel Alacrity (1885). The drawing bears the signature of H. E. Deadman [Chief Constructor of Portsmouth Dockyard 1886-1892] and J. Painter (?) {Position unknown flourishing 1886]. The drawing is badly stained with ink and there are tears along the top and bottom edges.
