'Warrior' (1860)

Scale 1:96. A plan showing the lower deck of the broadside ironclad 'Warrior' (1860). The plan includes a partial inboard elevation illustrating the arrangement of the portside sail bin, shell racks, bag racks and coal chutes between frames 52 and 74 (this area is roughly amidships and includes the second funnel).

Undated minor alterations to the forward compartments, hatchways to magazines, stowage of ammunition and magazine ventilation are picked out in red ink.

Signed by George Turner [Master Shipwright, Woolwich Dockyard from 12 July 1859].
