Don’t miss this special screening of the award-winning documentary Our Life is Here, following Western and Marshallese artists on the 2023 Cape Farewell expedition to the Marshall Islands. Set amid breathtaking landscapes, the film explores climate change, resilience and the legacy of nuclear weapons testing.
This event accompanies the exhibition Kõmij Mour Ijin/Our Life is Here, which is on display at the National Maritime Museum. This contemporary art exhibition has been co-produced with arts organisation, Cape Farewell, and reflects on nuclear testing and climate change in the Marshall Islands.
A brief Q&A with the film's director, David Buckland, will follow after the screening. The event will take place in the National Maritime Museum's Lecture Theatre and is suitable for all ages.
