This journal documents Bald’s visit to Valparaiso and Coquimbo and details the officer training given in the pre-war period. Contains illustrations of HMS GRAFTON at Acapulco, Union Bay, Alberni Canal, and Coquimbale (Pacific Station). Contains diagrams of the internal workings of engines and a 72lb mine.
