The Trophy of Arms and Britannia statue at the main entrance to the Royal Naval Exhibition, Chelsea

A view from the main entrance to the Royal Naval Exhibition, Chelsea, looking at the Trophy of Arms and Britannia statue. Britannia, in martial costume, is standing on a pedestal with a lion by her side. Below this on plinths either side are a variety of guns, weapons and cannon. Large ensigns are draped at angles behind the weapons. Behind the statue of Britannia are the words in a circle, taken from the Articles of War, 'The Navy, whereon under the good providence of God, the wealth, safety and strength of the Kingdom chiefly depend'. A row of plants in pots is in front of the display behind a rope barrier.
